AUREA Launches its NIR Time Correlated Single Photon Counting Module at CLEO 2012



[CLEO, San Jose] AUREA Technology is launching at CLEO 2012 the SPD_AT, its new near infrared Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC) module. The SPD_AT is an ultra-low-noise and high quantum efficiency near infrared [900 - 1700 nm] single photon counter with timing correlation features. The SPD_AT includes a Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiode and thermoelectric coolers that ensure very high detection efficiency up to 25 per cent. The TCSPC module from AUREA Technology is proposed in two versions, the SPD_AT_M1 with one channel and the SPD_AT_M2 for two channels.
