Photoelectric Sensors utilize separate amplifier.

Press Release Summary:

Miniature Series F3 features flat, aluminum-anodized housing measuring 13.5 x 13 x 3 mm, epoxy lens with glass cover, and visible red light. Through-beam, retro-reflective, and diffuse modes are offered. Copper wire with M8 connector plugs sensor into any STM amplifier. Suited for part presence, absence, and positioning applications, sensors offer through-beam sensing range of 500 mm, and diffuse range of 60mm on white non-glossy paper. Smallest detected object is 0.05 mm.

New Photoelectric Miniature Sensors With Separate Amplifier

The NEW F3 series of photoelectric sensors from STM (No Fiber Optic) features a small, flat, thin, and robust aluminum anodized housing (IP67) 13.5mm x 13mm x 3mm, epoxy lens with glass cover, visible red light (Micro Spot by STM) and easy to mount with 2 mounting holes (for M3 screws). Through beam, retro-reflective and diffuse modes are offered. A copper wire (1 meter standard) from the sensor with an M8 connector on the end plugs into any STM amplifier. These sensors can be used for part presence, absence, and positioning applications with very high accuracy and repeatability. Through beam sensing range is 500mm, diffuse range on white non-glossy paper is 60mm. Smallest reliably detected object is 0.05mm. Custom solutions are also available.
