Press Release Summary:
Designed for use in non-condensing environment, UDT- 4X4D superblue photodetector array provides complete isolation between all of 16 elements with crosstalk level of less than 0.05% at 633 nm. Active area diameter 1 x 1 mm array exhibits sensitivity from 300-1,100 nm and peak responsivity of 900 nm with 50 pF capacitance. Housed in ceramic LCC package, unit has -20 to +60°C operating temperature range.
Original Press Release:
UDT Sensors' New Silicon 4 x 4 Array Photodetector
October 25, 2004 - Hawthorne, CA - UDT Sensors, Inc., a subsidiary of OSI SYSTEMS (Nasdaq: OSIS), introduces a new line of superblue enhanced photodetectors, the UDT- 4X4D. The proprietary 4 X 4 array detector is designed to provide virtually complete isolation between all of the 16 elements with an extremely low crosstalk level (less than at 0.05% at 633 nm). The active area diameter 1mm X 1mm array exhibits sensitivity from 300 nm to 1100 nm with a peak responsivity of 900 nm with low 50 pF capacitance.
Other features include a standard ceramic LCC package which allows easy integration into any surface mount application. The advanced new superblue photodetector from UDT Systems has many applications including ratio and scattering measurements and position-sensing. Designed for use in a non-condensing environment, the operating temperature is -20 to +60 degrees C and the storage temperature is -20 to +80 degrees C. Special electro-optic options, custom packaging, or parts in die form are all available upon request.
