Phifer PetScreen Just Got Cleaner with Microban
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Phifer Incorporated announces the launch of Microban® antimicrobial product protection in its PetScreen, a heavy-duty, pet-resistant insect screening. PetScreen joins a lineup of Phifer products - insect screening, sun control and outdoor furniture fabrics - that help safeguard against the growth of pesky microbes such as mold and mildew.
Added during the manufacturing process, Microban product protection works 24/7 for the lifetime of the screen to inhibit the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew, making PetScreen easier to clean and help keep the screen cleaner between cleanings.
While Microban antimicrobial protection provides an additional level of cleanliness protection, the performance and fabrication of PetScreen has not changed. Made from vinyl-coated polyester, PetScreen resists tears, punctures and other damage caused by pets or heavy wear in high traffic areas. After extensive testing, PetScreen was found to be seven times stronger than traditional insect screening.
PetScreen is available in a variety of widths and two popular screening colors, Black and Grey.
