TRICAST Reveals Enhancements to Its Pharmacy Benefit Surveillance Software at NCPDP Technology Conference

Real-Time Quality Assurance Enables Users to Catch Claim Anomalies Before Transactions Are Finalized

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- TRICAST, Inc. today announced significant enhancements to Reveal®, it's cutting-edge Web-based surveillance software system at the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) Annual Technology & Business Conference in Scottsdale.

"Reveal enables our clients to stream their claims data to do real-time analysis or surveillance," said TRICAST President Greg Rucinski. "They can look at all potential audit points such as copays, quantity limits, discounts, fees, rebates, formulary...really anything in their pharmacy benefit can be watched."

Adds Director of Software Development Ken Ullsperger: "As data pops into existence in our client's environment, we're able to instantaneously deliver it to our data center and return the results of Reveal's analysis back to the client in the blink of an eye. Reveal performs completely secure and truly real-time data supervision, examination and surveillance on behalf of our clients."

When asked about the significance of real-time quality assurance to a client, Rucinski says that Reveal "lets them see the responses to their claims in their pharmacy benefit vendors' system and catch anomalies before the transaction is finalized. We'll be able to help them cut down on rework, and less rework means saved time which equates to money saved."

Greg Rucinski and CIO Jim Casurella are available throughout the conference run at Booth 317 in the NCPDP Solutions Marketplace exhibition area.
