NEW ROTO-TAB(TM) VALVE DOES NOT BREAK OR DAMAGE CAPSULES, TABLETS OR PILLS
The Roto-Disc Valve Company announces a breakthrough valve design for pharmaceutical capsules, tablets and pills. The new Roto-Tab(TM) Valve does not break or damage capsules or tablets during operation. First, a smooth, gentle closing action of the rotating dome valve slows the flow of pills to a dribble. Next, the elastomer seal is gently expanded with compressed air to trap the dribbling pills against the dome. The flow of capsules or tablets is completely shut off without product breakage or damage. The pressure regulator assures that a minimum force is exerted against the tablets. Maximum tablet or capsule size is 0.8" (20.32 mm).
Valve sizes range from 3" to 12" inlet opening. Materials include any castable alloy (316 stainless steel is stocked). White neoprene is stocked for the elastomer seal.
