(Singapore, July 15, 2008) Esco Hospital Pharmacy Isolators, Negative Pressure Models, provide a safe and clean environment for the compounding of hazardous, sterile drug preparations including antineoplastics and cytotoxics, in compliance with USP 797 criteria. Barrier isolation system provide inherently superior sterility compared to open fronted clean air devices such as laminar flow clean benches and Class II biological safety cabinets.

Only Esco offers:

o Built in microbial protection. ISOCIDE(TM) antimicrobial coating on all powder coated surfaces eliminates 99.9% of surface bacteria within 24 hours of exposure.

o Quality, easy-to-clean construction. Barrier isolators and biological safety cabinets utilize stainless steel interiors with coved corners.

o Continuous monitoring for peace of mind. Barrier isolators feature built-in digital airflow and pressure displays.

All Esco isolators are individually factory-tested in accordance with CETA CAG-002-2006, Compounding Isolator Testing Guide, the industry's only performance test guide.
