New Emerson Family Of Rosemount TUpH Sensors With Silcore Technology Raise The Bar On Sensor Life At Elevated Temperatures



IRVINE, Calif. / MILWAUKEE, Wis., June 24, 2003 - Emerson Process Management today announced that the company's very popular line of Rosemount Analytical TUpH pH sensors has now been made "even TupHer." The new TUpH family features exclusive SILCORE(TM) technology, a triple-seal contaminant barrier that hinders moisture and material impurities from migrating to the pH electrode's metal lead wire. This barrier helps prevent compromise of the pH measurement and significantly increases sensor life, particularly at high temperatures where increased contaminant migrations occur. According to John Wright, vice president of marketing, Emerson Process Management, Rosemount Analytical, "Our new SILCORE technology can add as much as five times the sensor life in elevated temperature processes while maintaining its reliable performance."

The Rosemount Analytical TUpH sensors literally set the standard for long sensor life in harsh applications that tend to coat the pH electrode.
