Extech's NEW ExStik(TM) pH meter utilizes a flat surface electrode that measures pH in liquids, semi-solids, and solids. A "Smart Chip" eliminates guesswork by indicating when the electrode needs to be recalibrated or replaced. Measurements range from 0.00 to 14.00 pH with a very sensitive 0.01 pH resolution and accuracy. The ExStik(TM) also measures temperature, a feature not normally found in pocket size pH meters. Temperature measurements range from 23 to 194°F (-5 to 90°C). The LCD simultaneously displays both pH and temperature readings and uniquely includes an analog bar graph which shows continuous change in acidity or alkalinity. The ExStik incorporates even more features including 1,2, or 3 point calibration, a memory that stores and recalls 15 readings and the last calibrated value, automatic temperature compensation, and a waterproof housing designed to float.
