Permabond Increased Temperature Resistance of Cyanoacrylate Adhesives


SOMERSET, NJ - Permabond is pleased to announce increased temperature resistance for two popular cyanoacrylate adhesives. Permabond 792 Surface Insensitive Adhesive and 2011 Non Sag Gel Adhesive now withstand up to 250°F (120°C). Previously the upper limit was 180°F (82°C). This technical advancement does not change other properties of the products or affect the MSDS. "We are pleased to be able to offer these improvements to our customers, and, as part of Permabond's continuous improvement initiative, we will apply this improvement to additional cyanoacrylate adhesives in the coming months" said Manny Dias, Technical Manager.
