DANBORO, PA, USA, October 5, 2011 -- PennEngineering® has been named as an official Research Engineering & Manufacturing Inc. (REMINC) licensee for TRILOBULAR(TM) and REMFORM® thread-forming fasteners. The TRILOBULAR(TM) fastener license applies both to the United States and Pan-Asia and the REMFORM® license applies globally.
The TRILOBULAR(TM) product family for metal applications includes TAPTITE 2000®, DUO-TAPTITE®, TAPTITE-II®, FASTITE® 2000(TM), MAGTITE® 2000(TM) POWERLOK®, PUSHTITE®, and many other TRILOBULAR(TM) fastener products for specialized applications. The REMFORM® product family for plastic and some soft metal applications includes REMFORM®, REMFORM® II, and REMFORM® F fasteners.

Both the TRILOBULAR(TM) and REMFORM® proprietary thread-forming fastener families were introduced in 1961 and are designed to promote lower overall assembly costs.
