Dynisco Launches New Pellet Dryer

Hickory, NC (April 15, 2003) - Dynisco, LLC announces the introduction of their new Pellet Dryer. The new dryer replaces the Beringer TD-10 model and incorporates a new, easy-to-clean cylindrical design capable of drying at rates up to 3,500 lbs/hr. The new Pellet Dryer will be featured at NPE 2003 (North Hall Booth #5526) this June in Chicago, IL.

"The new dryer concept originated with customers requesting a dryer with improved access for cleaning. We responded to this request with a completely new design which offers more standard customer requested benefits than any competitive dryer on the market today," stated Kevin Tuttle, Director of Marketing for Dynisco Extrusion.

The new dryer provides easy operator access via cylindrical doors, which open 285° and are removable. The easy operator access allows for quick pellet removal and complete dryer cleanout eliminating pellet contamination after color or polymer changes.

Moist air extraction and sound abatement are standard features of the new dryer. Acoustically dampened impact surfaces reduce noise levels and eliminate the need for optional sound abatement.

Rotor bearings are made of stainless steel and sealed for moisture and wash-down service for improved reliability. CE safety interlocks are incorporated as standard. The unit will retrofit to existing Beringer model 12V and 35S machines.

Dynisco, LLC is a worldwide leader providing pressure and temperature sensors and instruments for plastics processing and other industrial applications; polymer test systems for laboratory and in-process measurement; and gear pumps, screen changers, pelletizers, cleaning ovens and other auxiliary equipment for the plastics and process industries under the Dynisco and Beringer brand names.
