Ceragon Announces Next Generation Wireless High Capacity PDH and Ethernet Solution

FibeAir® 640P Provides Cellular Operators With an Ideal Migration Path From PDH to All-IP

TEL AVIV, Israel, December 4/ --Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT, TASE: CRNT), www.ceragon.com, a leading provider of high-capacity wireless backhaul solutions, announced today at ITU Telecom 2006 the launch of its new FibeAir 640P, a very high capacity carrier class solution for TDM and Ethernet connectivity. Ideal for cellular operators, this point to point system enables smooth migration from TDM to 3G and beyond and all-IP networks by uniquely incorporating multiple TDM capacities together with intelligent Fast Ethernet networking. This latest addition to the FibeAir family has successfully completed customer trials and is commercially available. Ceragon is pleased to announce that it has already received several purchase orders for this new product.

The FibeAir 640P hybrid high capacity PDH and IP radio operates in the 6-38 GHz frequency range and was designed as an ideal building block for cellular networks which are evolving from 2G to next generation 3G and to IP-centric networks.

"The imminent cellular evolution from TDM to all-IP is an exciting trend", said Ira Palti, President and CEO, Ceragon Networks Ltd. "This new product release is another step towards strengthening Ceragon's leadership in the cellular and IP markets. The FibeAir 640P is another demonstration of our technological leadership and our commitment to provide the most innovative solutions for meeting the evolving needs of cellular operators around the world."

FibeAir 640P offers a seamless migration path from medium to very high capacity using software license keys, for a "pay-as-you-grow"
solution with capacity upgrades from 32 to 64 E1s and from 28 to 64 T1s as well as Ethernet connectivity of wireless access networks.

Featuring extremely low-latency and wire-speed native Fast Ethernet, the FibeAir 640P guarantees operators the highest performance for their delay sensitive applications such as VoIP and video while carrying native TDM traffic for toll quality voice.

FibeAir 640P features unique dynamic bandwidth allocation of TDM and Ethernet traffic maximizing an operator's network resources. It also supports multi-rate and multi-modulation schemes to ensure optimal spectral efficiency.

FibeAir 640P is available in split-mount and all-indoor installations for full flexibility and low operating expenditures (OPEX).

With full hardware redundancy for all active components, the FibeAir 640P ensures the highest availability and simple maintenance. Designed in the same modular and scaleable architecture as the rest of the FibeAir product family, the FibeAir 640P is easily deployed and managed with Ceragon's comprehensive set of management tools.
