Original Press Release:

One Stop Systems Introduces the High Density Compute Accelerator with Flash Array (HDCA-FA) with Intel Inside® at SC16

Adds up to 9.26 Tflops of computational power with eight Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessors

Adds 64TB of Flash Storage with sixteen Intel® P3608 Series SSDs

Flexibility to Direct Attach up to Four Servers

One Stop Systems, Inc. (OSS), the leader in PCI Express (PCIe) appliances for HPC applications, features the first PCIe 3.0 expansion appliance to support up to eight Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessors and sixteen Intel® P3608 Series SSDs in the Intel Pavilion at SC16 on Wednesday and Thursday, November 16-17th. The pre-configured appliance is targeted for data centers operating HPC applications, providing the user with a complete appliance that solves many integration issues, provides enhanced performance and storage, and allows for scalable flexibility. The user simply attaches the HDCA to up to four servers and has 488 additional compute cores and 64 TB of PCIe flash storage readily available. Each connection operates at PCIe x16 3.0 with speeds of up to 128Gb/s.

"We are extremely happy to partner with Intel to provide this exceptional hardware solution to support multiple HPC applications," said Steve Cooper, OSS CEO. "With support of up to eight Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors and sixteen Intel® P3608 SSDs, the HDCA-FA adds over 9Tflops of compute power to your server or servers. The PCIe flash storage resides in the same enclosure as the coprocessors and both can be mixed and matched to achieve the right amount of compute power and storage for a multitude of HPC applications."

The HDCA-FA equipped with Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors and Intel® SSDs is available immediately. Call our application engineers to best determine which Intel® products meet your specific technical and pricing requirements.
