Seco-Carboloy's New CBN350 Grade Optimizes Hard Turning

Warren, Mich., Jan. 5, 2004 -- Seco-Carboloy has announced the availability of CBN350, a new PCBN grade ideal for rough machining of hardened steels and irons. CBN350 boosts productivity in machining chilled or white cast irons and manganese steel components.

Added toughness allows CBN350 to perform at greater feed rates and to last longer, even at lower cutting speeds. This additional toughness reduces chipping and edge flaking in difficult-to-machine materials. CBN350 solid inserts are available in round- or square-shaped.
