One Stop Systems Unveils SysMon-II System Monitor and Control Board

· Easily located inside system enclosure

· Monitors and communicates vital system parameters to remote PC

· System alarms sent to host via a 100Base-T Ethernet connection

ESCONDIDO, Calif., February 1, 2007 - One Stop Systems today announced the SysMon-II System Monitor and Control Board, designed to track and display operational parameters that are vital for the healthy performance of any computing system. The SysMon-II offers users quick network configuration that can be easily set up or changed. The controller resets after a configuration change and stores the configuration in nonvolatile memory where it can be retained without power. In the event of an error or outage, dipswitches allow the user to restore the network configuration to its default setting.

The SysMon-II works by monitoring the health and status of the system, communicating this information to a host via a 100Base-T Ethernet connection. The SysMon-II monitors 8 fan tachs, 8 temp sensors, 5 voltages and all DC power signals from the power supplies. It also controls the 6 status LEDs on the front of the chassis. All configuration parameters are stored in non-volatile FLASH. All control and monitoring signals are routed via a single 40 pin connector to the backplane where the I/O signals are efficiently routed to their corresponding functions.

"One Stop Systems' SysMon-II complements our line of products by offering complete system monitoring functionality in an intuitive, easy-to-setup controller board," said CEO Steve Cooper. "We received such a tremendous response to the CompactPCI system monitor, introduced in 2002, and have had numerous requests to build the same type of monitor in an embedded form factor. The Sysmon-II can be mounted on a carrier board and inserted into a slot or embedded within the chassis. It offers a much wider flexibility in use at an extremely competitive cost."

The SysMon-II lists for $695.00 and is available immediately.
