Paxton Access Limited, a market-leading manufacturer of intelligent access control solutions, are delighted to have won the PSI Premier award for Access Control Product of the Year.
The product that attracted the votes of PSI Magazine's readers is Paxton Access' unique hands-free access control solution. Hands-free entry helps companies conform with the DDA; it also offers convenience in any situation where presenting a token is awkward, such as stores and loading bays.
Long-read ranges are achieved by the simple addition of a hands-free interface between the reader and control unit on a Net2 or Switch2 system. With this addition, read ranges of up to 2.3 metres may be achieved using a hands-free key fob. The hands-free keycard gives the option of boosting this range up to 50 metres.
