Blasters, Inc. Introduces the Liquidator

The Liquidator Pavement Marking Removal System quickly removes pavement markings and coatings on highways, bridges, garages, airports, warehouses, and ship decks without damage to the surface. This new agile machine is based on 15 plus years of ultra-high pressure waterjet robotic removal contracting experience, and is designed to be the most productive and user-friendly system on the market.

The Liquidator is available with an 11 inch and a 19 inch stainless steel multiple-port waterjet nozzle bar for 6 inch to 19 inch removal paths. Each bar is engineered with a unique waterjet nozzle attack pattern for optimal production on a wide variety of thick and thin coatings. High-speed hydraulic rotation of the nozzle bar increases effectiveness of removal and assures smooth, uniform coverage. The patent-pending Twist-lock Removable Shroud, coupled with the tilt-head feature makes the waterjet nozzle bar easily accessible for field service. Vacuum recovery directly from the shroud completely removes water and debris from the cleaned surface.

Although a heavyweight in production performance, the 25 horsepower diesel powered unit weighs in at less than 1600 pounds, is less than 76 inches tall, and can be easily transported on a ten-foot trailer or truck liftgate. These compact features and the machine's maneuverability permit operation in tight confines as found in parking garages. Production and quality control of the removal process are drastically improved by unrestricted operator visibility of the road ahead as well as the markings just removed. The standard speed control with an accelerated skip advance feature improves production performance on skip lines. Properly positioned halogen lights afford good lighting for nighttime projects. The multiple-position cleaning head placement allows for the removal of markings near barrier walls, varied obstructions and active traffic.
