New, In-Process Parts Washing Compounds Introduced by Master Chemical

June 9, 2004 (Perrysburg, Ohio) - Master Chemical Corporation, supplier of metalworking fluids and recycling equipment, has just released two new high-performance products described as members of a class of broad spectrum, industrial in-process washing compounds.

TRIM® CLEAN 2115 is a low foam, synthetic washing compound for use in extremely high-pressure spray washers, de-burring and water-jet cutting operations, while TRIM® CLEAN 2020 is concentrated for use in ultrasonic or immersion washers. Designed for all metals, including brass, copper alloy and aluminum, CLEAN 2020 is an excellent choice when a single product is used for washing mixed, metal parts batches.

CLEAN 2115

Master Chemical Product Manager Frank Robinson says, "The best feature of CLEAN 2115 is that it controls foam, even at room temperature in extremely high-pressure washers. It's also an excellent in-process rust inhibitor for ferrous metals." CLEAN 2115 is compatible with a wide range of materials, including cast iron, steel, plastic and composites.

CLEAN 2020

CLEAN 2020 also has unique characteristics. "Its strength," says Robinson, "is removing oils in ultrasonic or passive immersion washers. You can literally watch the oil being ripped off the part's surface and popped to the top of the bath for skimming." CLEAN 2020's extraordinary cleaning ability translates to shorter cleaning cycles or elimination of cleaning steps, and its oil-rejecting properties result in longer bath life and more economical operation.

Both products are compatible with metalworking fluid products and recycling systems equipment, have water-clear working solutions, are free of phenols and nitrates, have no SARA 313 or EPA 33/50 listed ingredients, and contain no Butyl Cellusolve.

CLEAN 2115 and CLEAN 2020 are available in five-gallon pails, 54-gallon drums, 270-gallon recyclable bins, 350-gallon returnable bins and tank wagon lots. Also available in metric containers for Europe and Asia..
