Hydrocarbon Parts Cleaning is Economical with Minio 85C

WIXOM, MICH... OCT. 12, 2004... The compact Minio 85C parts cleaning system from Dürr Ecoclean GmbH makes high-quality hydrocarbon cleaning practical for low-volume parts manufacturers. It is an economical system for metal, plastic or glass, consistently removing oil, grease and swarf... even from complex workpieces with blind holes and channels.

Popular with screw machine shops, the Minio 85C has also proven very productive for electrical and medical components. With low operating costs and a footprint of just 21.5 sq. ft. (39" x 79"), the system is suitable for job shops, laboratories and other operations with limited space. Typical throughput is five or six baskets per hour, with a maximum weight of 110 lbs. per batch.

The Minio 85C cleans with the same non-halogenated hydrocarbon process as Dürr Ecoclean's larger systems. It is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, operating under vacuum with virtually no emissions. Innovative features include injection flood washing, vapor degreasing and vacuum drying, all in a single chamber. The closed loop system includes continuous filtration and recirculation.

The system is easy to program for different workpieces, and all controls are conveniently located for the operator. Various options (e.g., ultrasonics, second flood tank) are available to meet specialized customer requirements.

Dürr Ecoclean GmbH is part of the Dürr Ecoclean Group, a worldwide leader in integrated systems for cleaning parts, including material handling and control technology.
