Parkway Plastics Installs Two New Injection Molding Machines

Piscataway, New Jersey - Parkway Plastics INC. Parkway has purchased two new injection molding machines that will be installed at the manufacturer's Piscataway location by the end of 2015. Ned Rowan, VP of Sales says that the company removed one machine as part of the investment. The molding machine removed was one of their oldest (2001) and ran long and hard, "It was time for it to go". This investment provides a net addition of one line to Parkway's manufacturing operation and follows a busy 8 year reinvestment cycle consisting of 14 new injection molding machines, a new roof over their entire facility, and newly paved parking lot. When it comes to quality of production, the new Milacron 310 machines will have higher precision and efficiency. They will also reduce both costs and environmental impact as they continue to focus on producing better quality plastic jars and caps. Parkway, continuing to look into the future, is looking to purchase 3 more injection molding machines in the next 12 to 24 months.
