Parker RCTW hoses are especially suited for steam applications too. Typically, steam eventually permeates the core tube, and once in the wall of the hose, will break down the flexibility and delaminate the hose. Parker has addressed this concern and builds a Parker rubber hose with a proprietary core tube design. In some applications, Parker hoses have run 2 to 3 years longer than competitive hoses and were only changed out due to scheduled maintenance, not because of failure.
Parker RCTW Hoses are extremely flexible, easy to clean and handle temperatures up to 300ºF/149ºC Sizes range from 1/2” I.D. up to 4” I.D and are available from the PAGE International Hose business unit of the Parflex division.
