RAVENNA, OH – PSG Spiral Guard™ hose guard, from Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, delivers abrasion resistance, crush resistance, flexibility and strength to protect against hose wear in harsh or heavy duty applications. The MSHA/FRAS approved version of the PSG hose guard is lightweight and offers high-strength and low friction for applications where fire resistance and anti-static properties are a concern. Designed for rugged applications, such as below ground mining and heavy construction, this product has a -65°F rating which is best in class. In addition, the guard offers an embossed layline for easy identification.
Parflex PSG Spiral Guard™, with a rounded edge construction, easily slips over the end of your hose or, if fittings were previously crimped, it can be wrapped around the hose. It is so easy to install that you can cover your hoses without removing them from your equipment. It can also be used to bundle or organize cords and cables, assisting in routing and reducing tangled connections. Sizes range from 12mm (~1/2") O.D. up to 150mm (~6.0") O.D. and guards are available from the Parflex Division in Ravenna, Ohio.Â
