Announces: IRT’s NIOSH-approved CBRN CAP I C420 PAPR SYSTEM (NIOSH:  TC-14G-0137) has successfully completed NFPA certification with the Kappler CBT KPR 04 Lantex L3H45794 (Class 3 Ensemble) for CBRN and HazMat incidents. Model L3H45794 is a non-encapsulating Class 3 ensemble constructed with Lantex chemical barrier fabric, with a neoprene face seal, attached gloves and attached booties. NFPA Certification of the IRT CBRN CAP 1 C420 PAPR system with the Kappler CBRN Protective Ensemble (Class 3) was conducted IAW the requirements of NFPA 1994-2012 Standard on Protective Ensembles for First Responders to CBRN Terrorism Incidents by the Safety Equipment Institute (SEI).  The two systems were certified as a complete non-encapsulating CBRN Protective Ensemble, effective August 28th, 2013.
