Paper Shredders Feature Automatic Lubrication of Cutting Head

WESTBORO, MA - Model 5141 Series paper shredders from Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) feature built-in oiling systems that keep cutting blades sharp even under constant use.

5141 Series shredders are available in strip cut, cross cut, and maximum security cut configurations. Photoelectric controls provide for hands-free start and stop; the cutters are activated by the introduction of documents (up to 12 sheets at a time) and are automatically shut off seconds later when the material is shredded. If the door of the machine is open or the bag inside is full, the blades will not operate and an indicator light will signal the problem.

The automatic oiler provides continuous oil flow to the cutting heads, improving performance and extending blade life. The oiler's feed rate can be set for light or heavy use. Replacing empty oil bottles is fast and easy.
