New, Automatic Four-Roll Lifter Makes Loading Easy for FASTTrack(TM) Paper Packaging System
Redwood City, California....May 14, 2003....FP International introduced a new material handling system for its FASTTrack(TM) paper packaging system. This time-saving material handling system is an automatic four-roll lifter that makes paper loading fast and easy, allowing four rolls of paper to be loaded and positioned overhead behind the FASTTrack dispensing machine for ready access. Combined with the FASTTrack FS2 straddle system, the four-roll lifter is positioned over the conveyor at the pack station, eliminating or reducing paper loading during a shift. Simply remove the empty roll and a full roll drops into position for feeding into the FASTTrack machine. The four-roll lifter supplements a paper roll already on the machine, providing five rolls, approximately 550 cubic feet of cushioning/void fill material, to meet the requirements of the most demanding production schedules. The FASTTrack system with the automatic four-roll lifter is designed for medium to large distribution centers, with large packing volumes.
The FASTTrack system uses single ply, 100% recycled kraft paper. FASTTrack paper can be used for void fill, cushioning, blocking, bracing or wrapping a variety of products.
The FASTTrack Packaging System is one of FP International's packaging manufactured on site (PMOS) products. PMOS systems eliminate the need to handle and store traditional packaging, allowing paper cushioning to be made on site, on demand.
