Paper-Less Announces MV2 MES Integration with Infor Fourth Shift ERP

Now Manufacturers Can Achieve Continuous Process Improvement and a Paperless Shop Floor
Milwaukee, WI – Paper-Less today announced a new integration of their MV2 manufacturing execution system (MES) software with Infor Fourth Shift ERP, an enterprise resource planning software system specifically designed for growing manufacturers.
With Infor Fourth Shift ERP and Paper-Less MV2 advanced MES software, plant managers and other manufacturing personnel gain improved visibility throughout various phases of the production process including manufacturing scheduling, production and labor reporting, material tracking and quality testing.
"The integration with Fourth Shift and establishing Paper-Less as a Fourth Shift Solution Provider represents an expanded role with Infor as Paper-Less has been a longtime Infor XA Solution Provider," explained Mike LeRoy, President of Paper-Less. "Integrating with Infor Fourth Shift is enabled since the Paper-Less MV2 solution is now deployed on a SQL database on the Microsoft platform as a web browser based application."
As production floor problems or challenges occur, notifications will be immediately sent to plant managers, engineers or other designated personnel from human resources, accounting, IT or quality management. In addition, archived production floor information may be analyzed for fine-tuning of production operations related to people, machines, material and processes.
