Ranpak® Introduces FillPak(TM) Fan-Fold Paper Cart

CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio, March 12, 2003 - Ranpak Corp., a leading manufacturer of paper-based in-the-box packaging systems, introduces the new Fan-fold Paper Cart. The fan-fold paper cart acts as a high-volume storage and dispensing unit for Ranpak's FillPak packaging system. Designed for high-speed, high-volume applications, FillPak is the fastest, most economical voidfill system on the market. The system uses fan-fold, single-ply kraft paper to swiftly produce an economical voidfill product for random applications.

The fan-fold paper cart works in conjunction with the FillPak system and will conveniently nestle in the back of the converter. Like FillPak, the paper cart is a portable unit on casters that can easily transport paper to where it is needed. It is a compact, space-saving unit that maximizes productivity.

The paper cart can hold up to eight 100-cubic-foot boxes of fan-fold paper - enough to provide several days' production without stopping to reload. This capacity dramatically reduces changeover time, enabling all of a packer's labor to be directed toward filling boxes. The paper cart works with the FillPak converter's out-of-paper sensor to stop and queue the system for changeover. In addition, the fan-fold paper cart features a see-through front panel, which allows the operator to monitor paper consumption.
