Belview Technologies Release New All-in-One Touch Computer System (PP8500) for POS, Medical, and Hospitality Markets
Fremont, California (October 23, 2007 ) - Belview Technologies Inc., a leading manufacturer of all-in-one industrial PC, small form factor PC, and touch screen display products, today announced the release of its new PP8500 series All-In-One Touch Computer, an advanced platform aimed for higher performance and reliability for mission-critical business applications.
Belview's PP8500 Panel PC is an all-in-one system combines a full function computer system with a touch screen enabled LCD display in a compact size enclosure. It could be widely used in Point of Sale (POS), Point of Information (POI) and standalone kiosk businesses. This new system utilizes all true industrial grade components - from motherboard, LCD panel, power adaptor, capacitors and resistors to ensure maximum reliability and durability. With the industrial grade and most reliable Intel 82852 system chipset provides excellent digital media performance, while integrating a rich feature set and advanced power management. The key features of this PP8500 system are:
o 5-Wire Resistive touch screen, or IR touch screen (in development)
o Celeron M 1.5GHz CPU, or Embedded Celeron M 1GHz fan-less CPU (Model PP8510)
o Memory up to 1GB DDR RAM
o Slim Hard Drive up to 160GB, or
o Compact Flash Card / Disk On Module (DOM) from 1GB to 8GB
o Supports Windows XP or 2000, XP Embedded, WePOS, and Linux OS
o Attachable 3-Track MSR
