Advantech Launches Stainless Steel Front Bezel Panel PC
The PPC-158T is a stainless steel front bezel panel PC starting at $2,175.
(Cincinnati, Ohio - 04/06/2006) - The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech introduces the PPC-158T, an Intel Pentium III Socket 370 based panel PC with stainless steel front bezel and metal rear cover.
The stainless steel front bezel makes the PPC-158T suitable for chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, petrochemical plants, kitchens in restaurants, and many other environments that require a high level of cleanliness. Speakers and OSD functions are standard, but can be removed at the customer's request. A choice of resistive and capacitive touch screens is available. Flexible mounting methods such as panel, wall, swing arm, and desktop stand accessories are available as optional accessories. Using Advantech's customization service, you may add customer logos and coloring to your PPC-158T.
OEM/ODM customers can request minor changes such as a different peripheral device configuration. Whole panel PC waterproofing is a prime consideration when operating in tough environments, so the PPC-158T can be put into a different chassis or enclosure to ensure this protection.
