Two New Series of Panel Movers Introduced By Hodge Division/Durham
Two new series of panel movers, differentiated by size, weight capacity and platform material have been introduced by Hodge Division of The Durham Manufacturing Company, Durham, CT 06422.
Said to be ideal for the transportation of all types of sheet and panel materials including metal, plastic, sheet rock and fiberboard as well as cartons and boxes, the new units are intended for use in warehouses, distribution centers, factories and building material dealers.
The larger 4 model APT series offer 2000 lb. capacity and range in size from 24 inches deep by 36 inches wide to 30 inches deep by 60 inches wide. All APT models have 6 movable 1 ¼ inch diameter tubular rack dividers featuring smooth, radiused corner bends.
The dividers are 12 inches, 24 inches and 60 inches high and two of each size are furnished. Seven divider pockets are provided on each end of the 14 gauge reinforced steel platform. The flush platform is 9 inches high. Overall height is 46 inches. Phenolic casters are 6 inches by 2 inches, bolt-on; 2 swivel, 2 rigid for maneuverability.
The smaller PT series consists of 3 models rated at 1200 lbs. capacity and offered in one size only; 28 inches deep by 31 inches high differing only in the platform material; steel, wood and carpeted wood. They are furnished with three 1 ¼ inch diameter 27 inches high removable tubular steel dividers which create 2 load spaces each 12 inches wide. Polyurethane casters are 5 inches by 1 ¼, 2 swivel, 2 rigid.
Finish of both series is gray powder coat which is resistant to both acid and rust.
