Panel-Mount Isolation Valves measure 42.7 x 25 mm.

Press Release Summary:

Two or three-way STV-K-1 Molded PEEK Solenoid Operated Isolation Valves feature abrasion-resistant valve seats, 20 mm diameter solenoid coils, and PTFE isolation diaphragms. Perfluor elastomer valve seats provide chemical resistance. STV-K-1 valves are tolerant to particulate in flow streams. Rated for continuous duty, valves operate on 12 or 24 Vdc power, and are available with 1.8 mm orifice diameters and l/4 to 28 threaded port connections.

Original Press Release:

New Panel Mount Isolation Valve Features Small Size and Low Internal Volume

Clinton. MA-Clark Solutions is pleased to introduce their new Model STV-K-1 Molded PEEK Solenoid Operated Isolation Valves. These two or three way valves feature an abrasion resistant valve seat and are ideal for demanding low-flow applications where minimum size and internal volumes are required. Additional design advantages include a small diameter solenoid coil, molded PEEK valve bodies, and PTFE isolation diaphragms.

The STV-K-1 valve seat seal is constructed from Perfluor elastomer, a stable molecular structure consisting of Fluorine, Carbon and Oxygen atoms that has outstanding resistance to chemicals. Perfluor also has high resiliency and resistance to abrasion making STV-K-1 valves uniquely tolerant to particulate in the flow stream virtually eliminating leakage caused by particulate damage to valve seats. In addition when an STV-K-1 valve closes, the "soft" Perfluor valve seat is pressed flat, minimizing internal volume.

A smaller (20 mm) diameter solenoid coil design allows STV-K-1 valves to be panel mounted thereby isolating the electrical connection and metal parts of the solenoid from the process area where aggressive media may be present. STV-K-1 Isolation Valves are rated for continuous duty, operate on 12 or 24 Vdc power, measure 42.7 X 25 mm, and are available with a 1.8 mm orifice diameter, and l/4-28 threaded port connections.
