Selco Loop-Powered Digital Metering System Offers High Visibility and Low Power Requirements
ORANGE, Calif. - November 26, 2002 - Selco Products Company delivers a high-visibility, low-power metering solution with its family of Loop-Powered Digital Panel Meters and compatible TZ-41 Transmitter. The displays and transmitter do not require a power supply and simply run off the input signal, which provides an intrinsically safe unit for industrial environments. They are ideal for applications including factories, process instrumentation, assembly lines, production equipment and analytical devices.
Features of the digital panel meters include a large and high-visibility red LED display, compact form factor, easy installation and setup, 1/8 DIN and 1/32 DIN sizes, front panel offset and full-scale adjustment, and screw terminals for solid connections. Custom specifications are available as well.
The AL-213 and AL-512 models use a 4-20mA linear scalable input to display any unit of measure, while the AP-560 is designed to monitor AC voltage. Dimensions of the AL-213 are 48mm (W) x 24mm (H) x 40mm (D) with a display digit height of 10.16 mm. Dimensions of the AL-512 and AP-560 are 96mm (W) x 48mm (H) x 22mm (D) with display height of 14.2 mm. All three models have an operating temperature range of 0 to 50°C at 35 to 85% RH.
The compact Selco TZ-41 DIN rail mounted transmitter is also loop-powered and a perfect companion to keep the data signal conditioned and accurate. Specifications for the TZ-41 transmitter include input ranges of 0-5mA, 0-20mA or 4-2OmA with 1:1 input to output ratio; 25mm (W) x 98mm (H) x 41mm (D); operating temperature range of -5 to 50°C at less than 90% RH; 0 to 5V or 1 to 5V output; and snap-on mounting.
