New Temperature Calibration Baths Available from Palmer Wahl
New models include heated and cooled baths, portable for convenience
Asheville, NC: Palmer Wahl Instruments, Inc. announces the addition of four new portable calibration baths to its line of temperature calibration equipment.
All models are designed with on-site calibrations in mind. The portable nature of the units allows them to be taken to the installation location of hard to remove instruments – simply cover the calibration tank using the gasketed, screw on stainless steel lid to prevent spilling the calibration fluid, then lift and carry with the attached top handle. No more struggle removing fixed cabling to calibrate an inconveniently located or installed instrument in the calibration lab. Transport cases with wheels and handle are available for transporting baths between plants or job sites, while protecting the unit from accidental damage.
The CLB30 and CLB31 units feature cooling capability not normally found in portable calibration baths, allowing for calibration at temperatures as low as -35°C. The CLB50 and CLB51 provide heating for calibrations up to 225°C.
The CLB31 and CLB51 models feature an advanced 4.3 inch color touchscreen PID controller with memory, USB and Ethernet communications ports, graphing of trends, data logging, 10 point calibration, and alarms. Use the optional external Pt100 probe for reference measurements. Stability is ± 0.01°C with uniformity of ± 0.05 ºC.
All models have an adjustable speed magnetic stirrer controlled by a potentiometer for easy control of the stirrer speed, allowing for good circulation to achieve high performance stability and uniformity. North American or European power cords are available for each.
