Low-Profile, Lightweight Hand Pallet Truck with 5-Year Warranty Provides Economical Material Handling Solution
A low-profile, lightweight hand pallet truck, that offers an unprecedented 5-year warranty, is available from Multiton MIC Corporation, Richmond, Va. The TM55 hand pallet truck features a patented Fast-Lift pump that provides quick lifting and controlled lowering and is designed for long service life and maintenance-free operation. The hand pallet truck is ideally suited for moving heavy loads in a wide variety of applications, such as: warehousing and distribution centers, processing facilities and assembly lines, manufacturing plants and retail and wholesale stores, among others.
The 5,500-pound load capacity truck has "C" shaped forks for extra strength and the Fast-Lift hydraulic pump has long life, non-leaking seals that virtually eliminate oil seepage. With three simple strokes of the ergonomically designed handle, loads are lifted up to five inches. The two large diameter (8-inch) steering wheels and two single load rollers (tandem load rollers are also available) allow the operator to easily move any palletized load. The handle is designed to facilitate pushing, pulling and pumping of heavy loads, minimizing operator effort. Also, the handle has a patented nylon-resin lever that allows the operator to use either hand to perform normal functions.
The truck has a turning radius of 52.4-inches for excellent maneuverability. The truck's cold rolled steel forks have smooth, rounded edges to permit easy pallet entry and can withstand harmful impacts. All TM55 trucks feature Teflon-coated joints and bushings eliminating the need for time-consuming lubrication. The trucks have a durable, safety-yellow, powder coated paint, providing greater visibility and a long lasting finish.
