New Barrel, Drum and Pallet Scale is Available as Stationary or Portable Weighing Solutions
Rice Lake, WI, July 2003-The new RoughDeck(TM) BDP features a low-profile design that accommodates barrels, drums, and pallets with ease. The BDP ramps sit flush with the ground in both
stationary and portable installations, eliminating speed bumps common with similar products. An optional portability kit allows for field retrofit of the stationary BDP model, and the indicator
stand is attached to the portability frame so vibration does not interfere with zeroing the indicator. Additionally, the portability frame and caster engaging mechanism are below the scale's live rails, for unconfined weighing of pallets and other large items. With two-way access to the weighing platform, optional ramps ease load introduction and increase efficiency.
To prevent damage, the load cells and cables are recessed into structural steel channels and the junction box is accessible from the top, yet fully enclosed for protection. Choose from a mild steel model with a diamond treadplate deck for industrial applications or a 304 stainless steel model with a smooth deck for hostile environments. The stainless steel model has optional welded-seal stainless steel load cells for corrosive or washdown applications. A variety of digital weight indicators are available for vivid weight display.
