MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin - Master Lock Company is offering a new padlock that meets a school or facility's security needs, while allowing students or employees to open the lock with one hand.
The SmoothSpin(TM) Combination Padlock is designed for easy operation, specifically fingertip twist or thumb-turn dialing. The lock features:
o a durable die-cast zinc body and dial shields that protect from physical attack,
o a hardened steel shackle that resists cutting and prying, and
o 40 number, three-digit dialing for thousands of possible combinations.
A control key offers quick supervisory access in case of emergency or forgotten combinations. The locks come in five different colors (black, blue, red, green and purple) and fit lockers with a padlock eye of at least 5/16" diameter.
The dial automatically locks under shackle tension to prevent "feeling out" the combination and the combination automatically scrambles when lock is closed to prevent accidental opening.
