Pack Expo 'Surpassed Expectations'

Two machines sold made Pack Expo 2006 a success for the Bradman Lake Group.

Capable of wrapping up to 1000 products per minute, the new Flowtronic Flow Wrapper was an instant hit with some important North American customers. Two of the largest confectionery multinationals decided on the spot to order this latest example of the Bradman Lake Group's technological advances.

Effective integration of machinery and operational teamwork were the twin themes of the working stand display. Both were demonstrated in a high output, fully integrated confectionery line that confirmed the Group as leading suppliers of packaging machinery to global markets.

First in line was the new high speed Flowtronic Flow Wrapper fed by the Automatic Distribution System (ADS) and integral, high-speed shuttle phase feeder developed and manufactured in the Autowrappers plant in Norwich.

Wrapped bars were presented to an LJ-DRT Top Load cartoning machine, produced by the team at Bradman Lake Inc., Charlotte, North Carolina and fed with cartons by a twin lane AMI Erector produced by Bradman Lake Germany. To complete the line, the loaded cartons were closed and sealed by a Triliner Closer also from the North American team.

"The Chicago show is one of the most important international showcases for our capabilities," says Gordon Bell, Bradman Lake Group's Business Development Director. "I am very proud to see the Group's recent successes followed by an exhibition that has truly surpassed our expectations."
