SENTINEL, an automated enterprise label printing software solution, enabled Owens Corning to leverage their existing SAP installation and pull data directly from the database into label templates. Before implementing SENTINEL, Owens Corning's IT staff had to update SAP's code so labels could be generated from the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Because the software is pulling data directly from SAP, manual data entry is no longer necessary and error rates have dropped.
