Overhead Door Offers Enhancements to Three Garage Door Lines

Additions to Durafirm Collection®, Thermacore® and Traditional Steel Lines Expand Distributor Offerings

DALLAS – Overhead Door distributors have new design options to offer customers thanks to enhancements Overhead Door Corporation has made to three of its garage door lines.

The Dallas-based company created a V5 stamp that mimics the look and feel of wainscoting, which will be available on the Durafirm Collection®, Traditional Steel and Thermacore® lines. A raised panel Ranch stamp is also now available on the Thermacore® line, while decorative window inserts have been added to the Traditional Steel Collection.

"The addition of these new stamps and window inserts to several of our collections should help all of our Overhead Door distributors meet current and future demand from homeowners who want attractive garage doors that complement their homes' architecture and increase curb appeal," said Joe Dachowicz, vice president of marketing at Overhead Door. "The inspiration for these enhancements came directly from listening to the needs of homeowners and distributors -- the new options combine the R-values that the market is demanding with the designs that are popular with today's homeowners."

Overhead Door's introduction of the V5 and Ranch stamps gives distributors more options to offer consumers who want to customize their homes. In a design nod to wainscoting, the V5 stamp incorporates five vertical stiles and a faux wood grain aesthetic that is not only attractive, but adds strength to the Thermacore®, Durafirm and Traditional Steel doors on which it's incorporated. Meanwhile, the raised-panel Ranch stamp further expands the design offerings available in the Thermacore® line and will be available with corresponding ranch windows.

In an effort to minimize the need for additional inventory, V5 and Ranch stamped doors will utilize current Thermacore®, Durafirm and Traditional Steel Collection window trim inserts. Overhead Door is also adding new decorative window inserts for both the Standard Panel (short) and Ranch Panel (long) doors in the Traditional Steel Collection. Customers will now have the option to pair all 170/180 Series doors with Prairie window trims, while 399 Series doors may be paired with Wynbridge, Stockton 8-Lite Arch and Somerton window trims.
