Original Press Release:

Cardinal Components, Inc., Introduces the CJ Series of High Performance Factory Configurable Oscillators, XO, and VCXO's, the "Cappuccino" Series

WAYNE, New Jersey -- Cardinal Components, Inc., a world leader in the manufacture of programmable oscillators, is introducing the CJ series of factory-configurable oscillators "XO" and voltage-controlled oscillators "VCXO".  The CJ series frequency range is from 10 MHz to 1.5 GHz.  Operating voltage is 2.5 or 3.3 volts.  The CJ series temperature range is both commercial 0-70C and industrial -40 to +85C. The CJ series is offered as a surface-mount packaging both plastic 5 x 3.2 mm, plastic 5 x 7 mm, and ceramic 5 x 3.2 mm and 5 x 7 mm.  The product output options are CMOS, LVDS, and LVPECL.  The CJ series is a low-power compliant product vs competitive solutions with 20 mA in CMOS @ (1 to 250 MHz), 23 mA in LVDS @ (750 MHz to 1.5 GHz), and the LVPECL configuration at 54 mA @ (750 MHz to 1.5 GHz).  Stability options include both 25 and 50 PPM options. Phase Jitter (12kHz -20 MHz) 0.9 ps RMS.

The product is ideal for the Computing, Communications, Data-Communications, Multi-Media, Networking, Homeland Security, Industrial, and many other high-performance-demanding applications.

Samples of the new CJ series can be obtained by contacting Cardinal or one of its authorized distributors worldwide.  Volume pricing is $1.35 to $7.50 each, dependent on frequency, specification and quantity.
