Pletronics Announces Low Jitter 5X7mm 156.25 MHz & 161.1328 MHz Oscillators For 10 Gig Ethernet Applications
Pletronics, a Lynnwood, WA based manufacturer of frequency control devices, announces a line of 5 X 7 mm ceramic surface mount oscillators designed for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. The SM7745DV-156.25 MHz, and 161.1328 MHz utilize a true third overtone crystal design for ultra low jitter (0.15 pS RMS - from 12kHz to 20 MHz) and 45/55-duty cycle (symmetry) with tighter symmetry available. The parts have an input voltage (Vcc) of 3.3 volts ±5% with 2.5V also available. Standard frequency stability is ±50 PPM over the operating temperature range of 0- 70°C, with tighter (+/- 25PPM) available. Rise and fall times are 1.5 nS typical, with faster times available per customer request. The TTL/CMOS compatible devices are packaged in the industry standard 5 X 7 leadless ceramic package. These frequencies are also available in the Pletronics PE 1100 PECL and LVI 100 LVDS families.
