Oriental Motor Introduces New High-Torque Bipolar PKP Stepper Motors and Price Reductions on Round Shaft Packages

Oriental Motor is pleased to introduce over 400 new 0.9° and 1.8° bipolar stepper motors with 1.2 ~ 1.7 times more torque at a 20% price reduction over conventional models. The PKP Series high-torque stepper motor offers more variety of electrical specifications, more frame sizes, encoder models and geared type motors for the optimum stepping motor solutions. The benefits of increased torque are smaller motors producing more work, downsizing, reduced power consumption and heat output.

If high torque and high resolution are required, the new PKP Series 0.9° stepper motors are now available in 2 frame sizes and 5 stack lengths. Both are available in a wide variety of Bipolar or Unipolar configurations. For higher speeds, a 4.2 amp, bipolar 1.8° stepper motor is now available for 56.5 frame sizes.

The new PKP Series is available in 20 mm (0.79 in.), 28 mm (1.10 in.), 35 mm (1.38 in.), 42 mm (1.65 in.) and 56.4/60 mm (2.22/2.36 in.) frame sizes and available with encoder option. Free 24” cable is included with all PKP Series stepper motors.
