NEW YORK, Jan. 31 -- Today at Oracle's Oracle global "Applications Unlimited" event held on 6 continents over 24 hours, Oracle announced that organizations around the world continue to adopt Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12. Driven by the need to simplify core business processes, improve operational efficiencies and benefit from a lower total cost of ownership, companies such as Amarr, Centre Vinicole Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, Developers Diversified Realty Corporation, HarperCollins Publishers, Land O'Lakes, Pernod Ricard, Saneco Group, SKOPE Industries Ltd., Sound Transit and Valley Crest have decided to rely on the latest release of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12.

Saneco Group, a French company specializing in the processing and distribution of flax and hemp fibers for yarn spinning, non-wovens production and pulp and papermaking applications, implemented Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 to integrate disparate operations around the world.

Developers Diversified Realty Corporation currently owns or manages over 500 operating and development retail properties in 44 states, plus Puerto Rico and Brazil comprising approximately 118 million square feet of real estate. With a focus on acquiring, developing, leasing and managing shopping centers, the company decided to deploy Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 to help support its complex and rapidly growing business.

Independent software vendors (ISVs) including DataMax, Data Systems International, Formscape and ICS RFSmart have integrated their applications to JD Edwards, finding that the new 8.12 version provides the robust functionality required by their customers. These vendors used integration tools, resources and technical assistance accessed through their membership in the Oracle PartnerNetwork.

New Capabilities Drive Visibility and Interoperability

Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 now includes capabilities such as a new Plant Manager Dashboard to provide analytics and business intelligence functionality for more informed decisions. Additionally, Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (previously called Oracle XML Publisher) has been integrated to give customers a comprehensive, standards-based platform to address the challenges of disparate technologies and applications.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 is currently available for traditional deployment, and is also available on demand via Oracle On Demand.
