o Oracle announced the general availability of Oracle(R)
Siebel CRM Integration Pack for Oracle Trade Promotion Management.
Delivered as part of Oracle Application Integration Architecture, the
new offering reflects the company's continued commitment to delivering
pre-built integrations across Oracle ERP, CRM and industry
applications.

o Delivering pre-built business process integration between Oracle's
Siebel CRM and the Oracle E-Business Suite, Siebel CRM Integration Pack
for Oracle Trade Promotion Management enables consumer goods companies
to create efficiencies across the enterprise and extract more value
from promotions by synchronizing customer, product and financial
information across Oracle applications.
o This process integration pack uses a common object model and an open,
Business Process Execution Language (BPEL)-based integration approach.
o Siebel CRM Integration Pack for Oracle Trade Promotion Management
provides pre-built process maps for managing the entire promotion
through settlement process.

o Siebel Trade Promotions empowers sales professionals to be more
effective, helping them manage the trade planning cycle and increase
the value of each promotion. This offers robust functionality that
enables powerful promotion planning and simulation for accounts,
including trade funds allocation against promotions, category level
planning, flexible promotion setup and commitment, funds checkbook
management and promotion plan performance analysis.
o Siebel Deductions gives the ability to receive, research and clear
deductions to headquarters-based customer financial service
representatives and field-based key account managers. This enables
users to view key information pertinent to clearing deductions such as
promotions, contracts, remittance and correspondence while providing a
mechanism for clearing deductions through trade fund payments and
chargebacks.
