Oracle® Identity Management Certified with New Releases of Oracle Applications

Identity and Access Management Products Enable Customers to Secure Critical Information Across Latest Business Applications

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Feb. 7 -- Building on its commitment to deliver identity and access management solutions that are tightly integrated with business applications, Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) today announced that Oracle® Identity Management is certified with Oracle E-Business Suite 12, as well as Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 and Siebel 8 applications and is planned to be certified with Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise 9 applications by June 2007. The certification will enable customers and partners to more easily secure access to critical data and manage identities for Oracle's existing applications while extending the value of their current and future applications investments.

Certification of Oracle Identity Management, the company's comprehensive portfolio of identity and access management offerings, with the latest releases of Oracle's applications will help organizations speed time to deployment and lower implementation costs, as well as enhance enterprise-wide compliance and safeguard sensitive information. Oracle Identity Management, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, delivers a centralized identity management framework to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of user identities with products such as Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Identity Federation, Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-on, Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Virtual Directory and Oracle Web Services Manager. Additionally, the certification serves as another milestone in Oracle's unique ability to deliver next-generation application security in which identity and access management functionality is woven into the application architecture.

Safeguarding Data Now and in the Future

Today's announcement extends Oracle Identity Management's leadership with the most extensive set of application certifications, including Oracle and non-Oracle applications. With an emphasis on open standards, Oracle Identity Management enables organizations to support their heterogeneous IT environments.

Oracle Identity Management's integration with Oracle's enterprise applications is expected to provide a number of benefits including:

o JD Edwards EnterpriseOne -- providing automated user on-boarding and
de-provisioning processes that enable lower total cost of ownership and
improved application security. With this integration and self-service
single sign-on, organizations can easily manage their employees,
customers and suppliers from a single source;

o Oracle E-Business Suite -- delivering single sign-on functionality and
fine-grained controls within the financial management modules of Oracle
E-Business Suite -- providing visibility into who is accessing sensitive
data, enforcing separation of duties while automating and helping to
meet regulatory mandates;

o PeopleSoft Enterprise -- enabling customers using PeopleSoft Enterprise
Human Capital Management to seamlessly on-board employees through a new
hire process, provision employees securely and contextually across
physical and logical enterprise assets and deliver self-service single
sign-on. With the integration, customers can also reduce security risks
associated with orphaned accounts through seamless de-provisioning of
employees and contractors; and,

o Siebel -- providing Siebel applications customers a secure platform to
reconcile and link employee accounts to sales, marketing and service
modules, while providing a self-service portal for unified single
sign-on.

Oracle's world-class, industry leading identity management offering is highly regarded throughout the industry. Already recognized as a "Leader" by industry analysts, Oracle Identity Manager, a component of Oracle Identity Management, recently received a "Very Good" review in the Jan. 22, 2007 issue of Network World. Reviewer Mandy Andress commended the product, saying that Oracle Identity Manager builds on the core provisioning functionality acquired with the purchase of Thor Technologies and the "additional functionality greatly improves the product and may very well put it at the top of the provisioning market."

"Continuously extending the breadth and depth of support for leading applications, Oracle is taking another step toward delivering on our vision of identity management seamlessly integrated into applications," said Hasan Rizvi, vice president, Identity Management and Security Products, Oracle. "The certification enables organizations to extend the value of their applications by easily managing user access and identities and improving the security of critical data stored across the enterprise."

Partners Benefit from Breadth and Depth of Integration

Oracle's entire partner ecosystem, including System Integrators, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Value-Added Resellers and Value-Added Distributors will benefit from this certification. Using Oracle Identity Management, partners can more rapidly develop strategic, repeatable solutions linking Oracle applications with other custom and packaged applications, helping decrease resources typically spent on development. Additionally, ISVs who certify their applications with Oracle Identity Management will be poised to deliver pre-integrated points into Oracle applications, helping reduce the barriers to entry for customers.
