Enhances Support for Heterogeneous Offerings Spanning Strong Authentication, Physical Access Systems, Network Authentication, Privileged Password Management and Federated Payments
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., June 27 /-- Building on the success of its Extended Identity Management Ecosystem and Reference Architecture initiative, Oracle today announced it has added eight new members and more than doubled the size of the ecosystem. New Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) including Arcot, Cyber-Ark, ForeScout, Imageware, Juniper Networks, Inc., Pay By Touch, Quantum Secure and TriCipher are working with Oracle to provide value added integrations to Oracle® Identity Management thereby delivering solutions that extend beyond traditional access and identity management infrastructures.
Launched last year, the Oracle Extended Identity Management Ecosystem and Reference Architecture delivers integrations that make it easier for organizations to unify siloed security technologies into a comprehensive, standards-based identity management framework. Unifying these technologies with Oracle Identity Management enables customers to create a common security policy framework that spans heterogeneous systems and applications, lowers costs and improves overall enterprise security. The expansion of the ecosystem is a testament to Oracle's increasing leadership in the identity management market and underscores the continued demand for comprehensive identity and access management systems.
"The Oracle Extended Identity Management Ecosystem and Reference Architecture has made it easier for our customers to address their security and convergence requirements more efficiently," said Hasan Rizvi, vice president, Identity and Security Products, Oracle. "Expanding the ecosystem to include additional partners gives customers more options when integrating their 'islands' of security that span Web-based and legacy applications, networks and even physical access control systems."
Enhanced Ecosystem Provides Customers More Choice
By doubling the size of its ecosystem, Oracle now delivers to its customers using Oracle Identity Management as the integration foundation for their security applications and systems, even greater choice. Joining existing partners such as Authenex, F5 Networks, Giesecke & Devrient, Identity Engines and Lenel Systems International are strong authentication providers, Arcot, Imageware and TriCipher; converged physical access control provider Quantum Secure; network access control providers, Juniper Networks and ForeScout; privileged accounts management partner Cyber-Ark; and a secure, federated identity partner Pay By Touch.
"Strong authentication is central to our customers' identity management strategy and provides the critical first line of defense against identity fraud," said Ram Varadarajan, president and CEO, Arcot Systems. "Arcot's unique, software-based, multi-factor authentication solutions connect seamlessly to Oracle Identity Management to provide customers a robust identity and security solution employing strong authentication with ease of use of traditional password systems."

"We're excited to be part of Oracle's Extended Identity Management Ecosystem, delivering an enterprise solution to control and protect both personal and privileged accounts."
"Combining the knowledge of who is connecting to the network with the understanding of what device they are using and if it is compliant, brings an unprecedented level of security information and control to network operations," said T. Kent Elliott, CEO, ForeScout Technologies. "In response to customer demand, ForeScout's integration to Oracle Identity Management allows for greater control over who gains access to specific resources while ensuring strong network based enforcement against non compliant or malicious systems."

Juniper Networks is proud to be one of the first SSL VPN solutions proven to work seamlessly with Oracle Identity Management, enabling enterprises to easily and cost-effectively provision secure access to applications for local and remote users everywhere," said Steven Wastie, vice president of Enterprise Marketing, Juniper Networks, Inc.
