Ewing, NJ - February 6th, 2002 Discovery Semiconductors introduces a new optical receiver useful for LIDAR and eye safe free space applications, model R202. This low noise module is designed for the 1.2 to 2.2 micro spectrum. Operating in the 3 GHz range with a peak gain of 20 dB (lower frequency limit is 30 KHz but can be ordered with DC option), this receiver is offered in a compact hermetic package. Delivery is within 4-6 weeks after receipt of order with the customer's choice of optical input connector and a type K coaxial RF output.
