InterIntelligence Announces First-to-Market Multi Form Pluggable Optical Links
March 21, 2003 - Torrance, California - InterIntelligence, Inc. is the first-to-market Multi Form Pluggables (MFPs) and is ready to deliver high volume, low-cost, multi-channel optical links over Single Mode (SM) fiber with a reach of over 20 kilometers. The MFP (Multi Form Pluggable) optical linking module increases density by 60 % and reduces power consumption by 60 %, for virtually the same cost.
The MFP is the next-generation density solution for the expanding needs of the telecommunications market. The MFP's MEG-Array® configuration allows for easy system expansion and additional bandwidth. These highly stable modules are available in OC-3 (STM-1) 8 Channel TX/RX and OC-12 (STM-4) 8 Channel TX/RX. InterIntelligence offers an evaluation kit with all the components (test boards and fiber) needed to thoroughly test the OC-3 / 12 modules.
