Servo-Tek has an innovative optical encoder which is the PM Series Light duty with
1-120 cycles per revolution. The small size of the PM series encoder makes it easy to use where space is limited. The screw mount design has a #10-32 threaded shaft that is easy to mount. Special mounting brackets and couplings are not required. The face mount design has three tapped mounting holes and a synchro groove. Resolutions to 120 lines/rev (single channel) or 60 lines/rev (dual channel) are possible.
The electrical specification include resolution Up to 120 lines/rev. The bandwidth is 20 kHz maximum, power options of 5, 12, 15 and 24VDC. It also has an internal pullup resistor of 10 kilohms.
The mechanical specifications include diameter and height 1.25 OD x 0.9 inches, standard cable of 3-conductor 22 AWG, weight of 2 ounces and housing which consists of Derlin (black). The shaft type is threaded or round, a shaft speed of 10,000 RPM Maximum and shaft size of #10-32 or 0.187 inch. The mounting configuration 1 is screw mount and the mounting configuration 2 is face mount. The operating temperature is 0ºC to+70ºC
